Night Rating
This allows the holder of a Pilot's licence with Night rating to exercise the licence at night. The course is a minimum of five flying hours and can be conducted in any of our aircraft. The five hours must include three hours with a flying instructor and also include a cross country flight of 50km and the student is required to fly solo at night to complete a minimum of five solo full stop landing during the course of training.
You will learn about airfield lighting, navigation techniques in the dark, flying circuits and landing in the dark and how much fun it can be! The night rating is also required if you are considering moving on to commercial flying and is counted towards your commercial Pilot's licence training. See our price page for the costs.
